Language Apprentice Program (LAP)

The LAP is designed to increase the amount of Hoocąk speakers within the Ho-Chunk Nation.  Language Apprentices are taught to not only learn the Hoocąk Language, but to develop the skills necessary to teach the language to others.  It is the mission of the LAP to move the Language Apprentices to becoming new teachers of the language and to support them by providing safe learning environments as well as efficient modes of instruction.
